Josh Hottenstein provides sustainability consulting by helping organizations measure key traditional business elements such as financial, product and human capital management with an environmental lens. His previous company, Verdant Earth, was nominated for the Arizona Governors Celebration of Innovation, Innovator of the Year, Startup Company award.

Josh began his career in the high-tech industry developing sensors and analytical tools for NSF, DoD, and DHS.  Josh's work in the field of sustainability has been featured in publications such as the Economist, Discovery News, Greentech Media, and Grist.  Josh is also the Arizona Director for the Cleantech Open, working to find, fund, and foster the nation's best cleantech entrepreneurs.

Josh holds a Masters Degree from the University of Arizona and is an Enviropreneur Fellow with the Property and Environment Research Center.
